Dainius Šilingas 3 dan
Dainius Šilingas has been practicing Aikido for more than 20 years since the age of 14. Today he is a 3 degree black belt and has participated in numerous seminars together with Sensei Ulf Evenas, Shigemi Inagaki Sensei and others. Dainius also possesses some degree of knowledge in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu where he has successfully become Lithuanian champion in the Amounter category in the year 2012. However, the main focus for him was always Aikido.
He has participated for 5 months in total during a period of three trips in OSenseis Dojo as uchideshi under Shigemi Inagaki Shihan, also was appointed as his assistant for All Japan Aikido Demonstrations in 2024 in Tokyo.
Dainius is a leading instructor of the largest Takemusu Aikido club in Lithuania - Budokan. He leads adults classes six times per week and welcomes anyone who wants to train together. https://budokan.lt/
Magnus Ohlsson 5 dan Shidoin
Magnus Ohlsson was born in 1963 and started his sports career as football player in IFK Malmö first in the youth team and later on in the Swedish junior premier league.
In 1982 he started his studies at the Royal Danish Musik Academy in Copenhagen and his football career was over. After 10 years of studies and freelancing as a musician he become a member of the Malmo Symphony Orchestra.
It was then in 1996 that 6-7 musicians from the orchestra decided to go to Malmo Aikido Club to have a test training. After a couple of years training he started as children’s trainer and a few years later also teaching adults. The instructors of Malmo Aikido Club were Mats Edholm, Rickard Nilsson and Per-Ola Olsson.
2006 Magnus started Malmo Takemusu Aikido Dojo together with Marcus Knutagård and Magnus has since then been the Chief instructor of the club. Malmo Takemusu Aikido Dojo has presently 125 members.
Malmo Takemusu Aikido Dojo follows the aikido that was taught by Morihiro Saito Sensei and now being taught and preserved by Ulf Evenås 7 dan Shihan. Through the years Magnus visited 3 seminars with Morihiro Saito Sensei and many, many seminars with Ulf Evenås.
Every year Magnus goes to Japan to live and train in O-Senseis dojo and this year was his sixth trip. Therefore Shigemi Inagaki 8 dan Shihan has become a big source of inspiration.
